"Image-making and architecture called to me.
In an old dream I am crawling along a thin path suspended above a huge and deep quarry-like container of water. I sensed that I moved through the world with one foot in the deep and the other on land. Some of my dreams were of transparent structures, buildings with walls that could be seen through. The sensibility of these dreams, those of early daydreams and direct unconscious impressions became the milieu of my artworks."
