Take Me Back
My mind, then physiology, retracts to a fetal position within amniotic fluid, a holding pattern of safety, amidst confrontations in the world.
I imagine that all children, in our world’s war torn areas, long to return to that “held” place.
Our brain with its oldest more primitive thinking/feeling, reptilian base, developed over 100 million years ago, floats / hangs as a reminder of the harshness that it can create in a seemingly civilized world.
Mommy, your amniotic fluid, like a float tank of collective unconscious potentialities, held and nurtured me. It still does. In so many dreams I still live in my parents home. I am old and in the bedroom of my youth. Take me back to the rivers of “Amniotic” belief and safety.
This art series creates light and energy in dark, stagnant parts of any space.
It is thought of as Feng Shui or
“wind /water” art.
